1.) Think for Yourself.
- Knowledge of your strengths.
- What makes you who you are? Why are you really good at some subjects? What do people say you’re really good at. If you can’t think of anything contact me and I’ll help you find it.
- Think for yourself.
- Don’t let others formulate what your desires in life are. You are in control. You decide where you’re going.
- Overcome negative forces.
- Kick negativity out of your life. This includes long-time friends and family members who may bring you down. It is impossible to achieve greatness when you’re bogged down by negative forces.
2.)
Humility
- Thank you!
- Start each day with a “Thank you.” Make a list of ten things you’re thankful for. This is where you formulate a true appreciation for all the gifts you have been given in life. We all have things to be thankful for. Clothes on your back and a bed to sleep in are things to be thankful for. Supportive friends and bountiful health are important components to be thankful for. Developing humility is the beginning our becoming an awesome person.
- Generosity.
- Give. Give. Give more. In order to ‘get’ we must give. There is always give and take. Don’t be a taker. Be a giver and you will receive a bountiful return on your investment. This isn’t just money and time. Give sincere appreciation for other people. Give yourself confidence. Follow through with what you say. You will feel a high like you’ve never felt before
- Never win an argument.
- There is a fine line between a debate and an argument. An argument is when opposing side are motivated to be ‘right’ using emotionally based reactions and reasoning. Whereas a debate is when each party seeks to further their understanding and knowledge of the other person or party’s point of view. Knowing the difference makes life far more enjoyable.
3.)
- Learn something new everyday.
- This is an absolute must. When you are learning everyday you become powerful beyond reason. Open your mind to new thoughts and ideas. Always think for yourself, but give yourself the confidence to learn by reading daily. I recommend reading at least an hour a day.
- Always be reading 3 books (spiritual, professional, personal development).
- Try to set aside at least an hour a day for reading. This is where you challenge yourself for growth. Poor people read and wealthy people read. They just read different books.
4.)
Give yourself some TLC
- Sleep, exercise, and eat healthy foods.
- You know where to find healthy food. You know that exercise is good for you. You know that sleep in necessary to be at your best. Every day you say no to taking care of yourself, you may be pushing yourself back six months or a year. Discipline your emotions and go all out to have what you what. If it was easy everybody would do it.
- Easy on the booze. Drink more water.
- This is self-explanatory. I recommend one water for every drink. This limits consuming too much alcohol and keeps us in gear.
5.)
Counter Your Fears
- What are my fears?
- Ask yourself the following questions:
- Do I fear not having enough money?
- Do I fear criticism?
- Do I fear the loss of love from someone?
- Do I fear old age?
- Do I fear being unhealthy?
- Do I fear death?
- Did you answer yes to any of these questions? (Factoid, most people answer ‘yes’ to at least 4 questions).
- Make Faith based decisions (not fear based).
- Be honest with yourself. Knowing where you are is the beginning of moving forward. Find the truth. That’s where you begin to counter your fear. Fear is a choice. Winning is a choice. Happiness is a choice. Wealth is a choice. You decide what you want in life.
- Where to find positive things (people, places, activities).
- In order to be freakin’ awesome, you must surround yourself with positive energy and positive people. Do you know anyone who meets the following description:
-The tone in his voice, the quickness of his step, the
sparkle in her eyes, the quickness of her decisions clearly mark him/her as a
person who knows exactly what he wants and is determined to get, it no matter
how long it may take or what price they must pay.
-If you ask him questions, he gives you direct answers and
never falls back on excuses or resorts to deception.
-If she does not know the answers she will say so with
confidence.
-He never blames others for his mistakes no matter if they
deserve the blame.
-She is an inspiration to all who come into contact with her.
-He has a mind of his own and uses it for all purposes.
If you know anyone who meets this description seek
them. For they are on the path to remarkable success and happiness in life.
They will not allow negative influences to take them down.
If you choose to make the most of your time on earth it is
absolutely necessary to generate this positive energy. Believe in others and
others will believe in you. You are not a cog and you are not designed to drift
through life. The choice is yours.
